The mychild.gov.au site is an initiative of the Australian Government. This site is about children, with the main focus being on early childhood learning and child care. You will also find helpful links to other information for families in this site.

On this page you will find a summary of what the government departments or agencies involved with early childhood do. This will help you understand their roles and responsibilities.

We will update and add information to mychild.gov.au regularly to make sure you have the most relevant and useful information you need. If you have any suggestions on what we can include or change, please let us know through our feedback page.
