Special Child Care Benefit
What is Special Child Care Benefit?
Special Child Care Benefit can pay up to the full
cost of child care fees if you are using approved child
care and:
- your child is at risk of serious abuse or
neglect, or
- your family is experiencing a hardship event
that substantially reduces your capacity to pay
child care fees.
In some circumstances an increase in your weekly
limit of hours may also be covered by Special Child Care
Benefit. Increased hours of child care may also be
provided due to exceptional circumstances.
