Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority is an independent statutory authority. It provides national leadership in promoting quality and continuous improvement in early childhood education and care and school age care in Australia.

The ACECQA website contains useful information for families on the National Quality Framework (NQF). It also contains the National Registers, which are an important part of the NQF as they help families assess the quality of approved education and child care services across the country.
